ABOUT ANDREA ROMEO

I am an enthusiastic professional with one commitment only: delivering the best possible results to decarbonize today’s economy. My current role gives me this amazing opportunity: reduce CO2 emissions from steel production. This industry alone is responsible for around 8% of CO2 emissions worldwide.I am very passionate about distributed electricity production. It is a super way to increase renewable electricity % in national electricity mix through a sustainable economic path. Having a growth mindset and the ability to go beyond expectations is a fundamental milestone of my way of working. Thank you for clicking further and showing interest! Here a little bit more about myself- At the moment I’m focused on PV plant design and installation. 8MW project ongoing- I like challenging myself by setting very high standards. I worked with the installation of few types of AC Chargers for a variety of customers. The focus is on B2B Clients while I am active also on B2B2C partnerships- The experience as Application Engineer in Cummins gave me the tools to analyze and to address the different needs that customers have focusing both on product improvement and great customer journey - I also lived in Nairobi, Kenya where I was touched by a complete new culture to me. This incredible journey made me realize how important diversity is and why we should be focusing on differences between humans to improve global population wellbeing- I spent one year in Mendoza, Argentina as an undergraduate exchange student. The experience allowed me to try out a new lifestyle while embracing a different culture. Thanks to that adventure, I am right now an advanced Spanish speaker and with a very deep knowledge of South American way of livingTo conclude, due to my passion for challenges, I am open to a complete switch in Industry and Career: Renewables and Power Production from alternative fuels really fascinate me!
