ABOUT GIULIO BARTH

I am VP Global Integration Excellence Lead at Grünenthal, where I am leading and driving the development and implementation of new processes, technologies and systems to streamline Grünenthal’s Integration Framework and drive towards excellence. Main focus is on enhancing operational performance, striving for benchmark efficiencies and effectiveness, and improving the overall quality of our end-to-end integration processes leveraging digital and analytics solutions to achieve best-in-class integration performance levels across Global Operations and Grünenthal. Prior, I was McKinsey Expert Associate Partner in Life Science Operations. Passionate in driving value for PharmaCos and CDMOs between process development and commercial operations through lean and AI-driven transformations, and holistic strategy definitions. Deep experience in biologic drug substance manufacturing processes such as mAbs and new modalities, and pivotal leader in McKinsey’s Biologics Manufacturing benchmark POBOS, an innovator behind the launch site operations benchmark, and a co-leader at the McKinsey Cancer Center Europe. Outside of my work, I enjoy playing drums and spending time at the sea with my family.
