Giuliano has been working in the Semiconductor Industry since 1998, beginning his career at Motorola, during his years of working as layout engineer he became a mixed-signal auto-routing specialist by using the Cadence IC Craftsman tool and being responsible to implement the auto-routing methodology and training at Dialog Semiconductor. He is experienced designing various ICs for MCU, Automotive, Power-Management and RFID applications, being involved in the whole design process from circuitry specification to qualification and manufactured on TSMC 250 to 55nm, UMC 0.13um, CSM 0.13um, Silterra 180nm, XFAB technologies and Freescale BiCMOS process (SmartMos technology).Experienced on: full custom layout, elaboration of parameterized cell, DFM (Design for Manufacturing) rules and matching techniques to perform layouts in deep sub-micron technologies, digital Place & Route, power route analyzes, Chip floor-planning, development of IC Craftsman Automatic Routing scripts for Mixed-Signal blocks and top levels, layout verifications (DRCs and LVS), tape-out delivering, parasitic extraction, inspection of masks files, layout tasks scheduling, top and block levels area estimation.
