ABOUT GIULIA MANUELLI
I have been working in the hospitality industry in London since 2013. During my career as a Pastry Chef, I worked in hotels, restaurants, caterings and more recently in a café. In 2020 I studied with Fifty Shades Greener to become one of their trainers. The experience at Fifty Shades Greener made me realise how needed environmental sustainability training is for the hospitality industry. I saw the benefits that applying Sustainabity principles can bring, from reducing energy costs to staff retainement. Environmental and social sustainability simply makes sense. With Fifty Shades Greener I worked on a project in collaboration with Islington Council aimed at training small independent restaurants on environmental sustainability. In the last year I also starting working as a tour guide for Devour Tours, a food tour company that offers food tours all around Europe. I am currently focusing on my work as a Freelance Pastry Chef, I\'m looking for work as a production pastry chef and as a menu and recipe development chef.
