ABOUT GIULIA MEMORE
I just completed my MSc at The University of Edinburgh; I am passionate about the intersection of technology, the mind, and ethics, especially in AI, cognitive science, and information exchange. I thrive on tackling complex challenges and exploring how information shapes our evolving world. In 2024, I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Dundee, where I developed a diverse skill set in research, analysis, and problem-solving. My work as Editor for The Magdalen Magazine, Dundee, earned me the 2024 Editor of the Year award, reflecting my meticulous attention to detail and dedication to publishing. I continue to engage with the publishing industry as a member of the Society of Young Publishers (SYP) and through workshops and events.Fluent in English, Italian, and French (and an intermediate Russian speaker), I am a strong communicator and writer with experience working both independently and collaboratively. I particularly enjoy working in teams with diverse backgrounds as I believe that bringing together diverse perspectives leads to innovative solutions. As a Consultant at 180 Degrees Consulting, I applied my analytical and strategic skills to real-world challenges, contributing to the growth of organisations wanting to have a positive impact on the world, and deepening my research and problem-solving expertise.
