ABOUT GIULIA DE CORSO
What if?\" I graduated at Polimoda (Florence), course of Business of Fashion. My main goal is to put into practice my theoretical skills about Fashion Finance, Fashion Operations and Merchandising. I am currently workong at Uno Maglia Spa, following the economic, communication and administrative side of the company. I am ready to start fighting in the fashion battlefield, with an armour made of sparkling sequins of course! I love foreign languages and meeting new people from abroad: I always say that, thanks to Polimoda, I had the opportunity of studying abroad, but still being located in Florence. The main subjects include also Fashion Merchandising and Management, Fashion Communication and Journalism. After a six months stage at Mantovani Shop (Arezzo), I started working as a Sales Controller for the Farfetch branch of the company, gaining a concrete experience in logistics and operations. I worked for four seasons as a Vendor during Pitti Bimbo, for the wholesale campaign of Guffanti Showroom (Milan). I also took care of customer service for CitySightseeing Italy and Valdichiana Outlet Village, training my interrelation skills. I was selected for a workshop organized by Women@Dior and I won the contest organized by Riri Sa. for a fair communication strategy. I am the co-founder of Ric(Amo), a nonprofit organization of embroidered t-shirts, whose revenue is totally donated in order to build a better future for women in India.
