About Gissele Gajate Garrido
I have a PhD in Economics, over 20 years of experience designing, leading, and implementing creative analytic solutions and 14 years of stakeholder development and management experience advising on and delivering data analytics, mentoring data scientists, managing clients, and creating relationships. I have an empathetic and energetic leadership style centered on promoting collaboration and creating an inclusive environment. My work has been focused on applied economic analysis that ranges from impact evaluation in developing countries, consumer behavior in the CPG Industry and People Analytics in the Professional Service Industry. I have advanced analytic capabilities including expertise in Machine Learning, AI, Statistical and Econometric Data Analysis, Optimization Techniques, Predictive Analytics and Big Data Management. I believe using behavioral economics to inform Machine Learning and AI models is key to successfully implementing these tools in the future. Currently, I lead the Advanced Analytics and AI Lab at Ernst & Young, an initiative for which I recruited, trained and mentor all members of the team.
