Help advance a safe space for reading, with a primary focus on the South Asian community and Desi literature. Lilly and Lilly\'s library know that it is through stories that we understand ourselves and the world around us. And we know from experience that seeing yourself in a story can have such an incredible impact. One in four people on the planet are South Asian, yet their stories are seldom given a platform on a global level. This is our effort to change that and give more people that magical feeling. Trained to carry out research projects, deliver research presentations, and handle science conferences twice. Once by Indian Institute of Technology Madras as part of a six-week program, Research Science Initiative, Chennai (RSIC) Summer Program 2017 in consultation with Center for Excellence in Education, McLean, VA, USA, and the second time as part of the highly acclaimed high school research program, SSN Inspire Science Camp 20•••00+ hours of Shadowing and Direct Learning Experience under Doctors working in Trauma, Oncology, and Maternity Government Hospitals of the Dominican Republic, India, and Croatia. I\'m also an experienced slam poet, costume designer, and scriptwriter who has performed in poetry societies across the world and won accolades for it. I frequently dabble in stage acting, directing, and stage management as well-ON AN ACADEMIC BREAK- Public Health Professional focused on strengthening healthcare systems with experience in Reproductive, Maternal, and Adolescent Healthcare. Currently employed as the Program Coordinator for the NRHM South Zone and as the Director of the LGBTQ Healthcare and Welfare Fund. Concurrently working on the publication of my untitled Nordic Noir novel.
