Responsibilities: • Responsible for setting up some of the CI/CD process pipelines using Jenkins to deploy the application to Docker containers in Kubernetes.• Used JIRA ticketing system to keep track of issues and tasks on individuals along with Confluence for documentation. • Deploying and managing Kubernetes resources, such as pods, services, secrets, namespace, ingress, config map, and deployments within the cluster. • Worked on canary deployment of microservices and dockers using shell and groovy scripting. • Good experience on creating Pods using Kubernetes manifest files like Daemon set, Replication Controller, Replica set and Deployments written in YAML script. • Having good knowledge on writing Docker Compose Files using YAML and deploying Docker services in Docker Swarm Cluster using stack deploy. • Strong knowledge in understanding and applying the concepts of Kubernetes for container Orchestration. • Setup Kubernetes Monitoring Prometheus and Grafana using Helm chart• Worked in Agile development Environment using Scrum and Kanban board. • Troubleshooting issues and making sure resource availability as per SLA. Kubernetes Migration: • Built CI/CD pipelines in Kubernetes for smooth deployment of Spring boot Microservices in Multiple NPE and Prod Environments with multiple stages. • Improve the Kubernetes application monitoring and alert system, integrating with Splunk and Grafana. • Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues and solve problems where needed based on the container logs and Splunk logs etc… • For every Kubernetes build, an artifact Docker image is created and pushed to the Registry.
