Monitor station performance. Ensure station is following procedures and complying with regulatory requirements. SPI & KPI fulfilled all the times. To ensure implementation of AVSEC measures, supervision and coordination. Development and effective implementation of Security Programme. Conduct an initial and comprehensive survey of the facilities/equipment & activities. Ensure the continuing effectiveness of the Security programme by regular evaluations and by encouraging internal Security audit processes. Establish and maintain effective liaison with the airports authority and other appropriate authorities responsible for Security functions. Ensure thorough and effective screening of all passengers/baggage before acceptance. Ensure adequate training of Security personnel in screening the passengers and all others having Security responsibilities wherever assigned. Ensure an effective threat/occurrence response capability. Promote Security Awareness and vigilance. Be familiar with relevant legislations and regulations relating to aviation Security. Report all actual or suspected acts of unlawful interference with aircraft operation to the appropriate authority for Security.
