Trade physical crude oil for BioUrja, including purchase and sale transactions on pipelines, rail cars, trucks, vessels and barges, with a keen focus on expansion, new relationships and identification of low-risk, high-margin opportunities • Manage Gulf Coast, Bakken and Permian trading positions and develop business with existing and new partners • Originate Midland, Eagle ford and Bakken crude on spot as well as long-term structured agreements • Market trains/ vessels to East Coast, West Coast and Gulf Coast refiners based on best netback economics • Negotiated a long-term contract and formed a JV with a refiner to originate and supply Permian crude • Trade international ethanol cargoes and manage ethanol export program out of US and Brazil • Actively involved in proprietary trading including futures, calendar spreads, swaps, rolls and crush spreads on NYMEX, ICE, Argus, Platts and CBOT. Broad experience of trading and hedging several commodities such as crude oil, ethanol, corn, RBOB and Diesel • Execute hedging strategies and manage credit, flat price and basis risks. Report daily P&L to the risk and management team • Conduct profound research to identify industry trends, spot arbitrages and evaluate growth opportunities • Develop and forge close relationships with physical suppliers and customers in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Ensure compliance with the international policies and regulations • Managed several storage locations in Gulf and East coast, and supplied ethanol to Brazil, Europe and Asia • Performed financial analysis for construction of ethanol plants in Brazil and Mexico
