   Advise Amazon Studios’ business affairs, legal, and production teams on US federal and international tax implications on development, production, and distribution agreements and propose tax-efficient deal structures. Advise Prime Video SVOD and Live Sports acquisition teams on US and international tax implications of licensing agreements, marketing activities, and outline limits on in-country business operations. Particular focus and advisory on permanent establishment concerns, withholding and indirect tax implications, evaluating production tax incentive availability, legal entity structuring when engaging in new territories, related transfer pricing considerations based on business operations in various jurisdictions. Monitor and engage local Amazon tax teams and advisors on international tax developments via the OECD, local tax reforms, unilateral DST measures, audiovisual industry levies, and accordingly advise on the impacts to the Prime Video and Amazon Studios businesses and establish mitigation plans. Continue to evaluate new territories as the business expands and engage local tax planning teams or advisors in advance to give business general operating guidelines in the short, medium, and long-term. Continue to coordinate with the tax reporting and compliance teams to ensure planning objectives are reflected on corporate tax returns and to monitor impacts of business activities on key US tax positions regarding BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and section 181/168(k) deductions.
