ABOUT GIRIDHARI PRADEEP
I am a Public Health student at the University of Houston interested in addressing chronic disease through prevention, especially in underserved communities. As a Patient Navigator at San Jose Clinic, I help patients access programs like SNAP and WIC, which has shown me how practical barriers like time, cost, and access impact health outcomes. Alongside this, my work with FIT and FRESH has focused on improving access to nutritious, affordable food through simple, community-based solutions. I am also involved in research on antimicrobial resistance and human performance, which has strengthened my ability to approach health issues from both biological and population perspectives. I am interested in opportunities that connect clinical care, public health, and community-based prevention.
