ABOUT GIRIDHAR KSHIRSAGAR

With over 15 years of experience in Finance, I have consistently driven financial excellence and operational efficiency across various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, I lead the Distribution & Logistics Finance function at Cipla Limited, overseeing Pan India operations with a revenue of over INR Cr. My responsibilities include managing a budget of INR 500 Cr and delivering significant cost savings of INR 40 Cr through strategic projects. I am also spearheading digital initiatives by implementing advanced technologies to enhance our processes.Previously, as the Associate Director - Finance Controller for Operations at Cipla Limited and its subsidiaries, I managed the financial operations for 8 manufacturing locations and 6 Indian subsidiaries. My role involved finalizing annual financials, ensuring timely closure of books, and strengthening financial controls. I led a team of 10 members and drove continuous process improvements through harmonization and automation, contributing to the network optimization project for Cipla\'s manufacturing sites.My journey at Cipla began as a Factory Finance Manager at the Kurkumbh Manufacturing site, where I was responsible for the entire finance operations of a unit with a revenue of over INR 2500 Cr. I played a key role in preparing annual budgets, conducting budget analysis, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. I also led Project Harmony, which focused on harmonizing and simplifying processes across Cipla\'s manufacturing sites.I am a Cost and Management Accountant with an All India Rank of 82 and a Company Secretary. With a proven track record of delivering results and driving innovation, I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
