About Kaushik Kannan

When I find something interesting, I obsessively gather information about it. I then look for ways to share my interpretation of it through art and design. This intersects with my passion for the natural world and am constantly looking for ways to express at the crossroads of conservation and design. I enjoy working on the field and engaging with communities for various intervention projects.You can find me doodling a lot of plants and people in my sketchbook; or taking photographs of once-seemingly uninteresting compositions. I have worked closely with the Frog Watch team at the India Biodiversity Portal which looks at mapping amphibian species across India through a citizen-science initiative.Working with TerreGeneration Solutions, I contribute to the team’s communication pool of skillsets with design, illustration, filmmaking and animation. The team on the whole offers impact-focused content and communication services for a scalable regenerative future.Illustrating, photography, and graphic design are among my major strengths. I am also not one to shy from writing about topics that I feel strongly about. I am always in search for insightful conversations that show me a new way of looking at things. My work is on : and
