ABOUT GIOVANNI MEI CHARTERED

I’m a Chartered Energy Manager and Energy Efficiency Expert with the Energy Institute (EI) and a member of the Energy Managers Association (EMA). I bringing two decades of UK and international experience across energy efficiency, ESOS compliance, ISO and operational improvement.My work spans the full lifecycle of energy programmes, from data analysis, site audits, and opportunity identification to programme design, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of measurable, evidence based savings. I have led numerous ESOS assessments and developed tools, templates, and governance frameworks that improve consistency, strengthen organisational capability, and embed long term energy performance.I support organisations in building and maturing their Energy Management Systems, identifying gaps, aligning processes with best practice, and preparing teams for successful ISO certification and surveillance audits.Earlier in my career, I worked across environmental management, AM & T upgrades, and energy auditing for a diverse portfolio of buildings and operational environments. Across all roles, I bring a collaborative, solutions driven approach and a strong track record of turning complex challenges into practical, high impact improvements.
