About Giovanni Cavatoni

I am an incoming junior at Indiana University, majoring in public financial management. I am interested in learning about investing, markets, economy, and the financial field in general. I have some experience in the financial field. I interned at Flynn Financial Partners in New Rochelle, NY from May 2023 to June 2023, and learned from people who have been in the financial field for a long time. I was born in Hong Kong and moved to the U.S. at a young age. I have traveled to places all over the world such as China, Denmark, Canada, Peru, and much more. I am very interested in traveling and would like to incorporate it into my career/work. I studied Mandarin throughout middle and high school and have a basic knowledge in the language. I also enjoy playing and being involved with sports. In high school I played football, rugby, and enjoyed working out/exercising. Sports and exercising are a big part of my everyday life, and I hope to incorporate those features in my career/work as well.

   Part of the Solution (POTS) is a community based in the Bronx striving to serve all in the community from immediate needs to long-term comprehensive services. POTS values community, respect, hospitality, empowerment, and justice- Served food and helped organize deliveries for holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas- Cleaned dishes and served foods at the POTS center in the Bronx- Learned how to prepare foods and food boxes for people in the community
