As a College Corp Fellow working for ResilientSLO in the Community Outreach sector, I would present slides and facilitate engagement with community members living in San Luis Obispo regarding simple actions they can take to reduce their carbon footprint to reduce climate change. As a College Corp fellow, I attend weekly meetings to update and help out with various projects in Resilient SLO such as slides and poster creation, and also attend a College Corp meeting where lectures are held helping fellows better help the community we serve. Being in ResilientSLO has resulted in me having opportunities to join in Lectures and Webinars across the world and meeting with local and state leaders in the political world to fight climate change.
