ABOUT GIOVANNA FRAZZIANO
I am a researcher with more than twelve years of research and a broad range of knowledge from my different experiences in Europe and USA. I have always had a strong interest in practical science and started my research work during the last one year of my university studies at the University of Palermo (Italy). After my degree, I went to the Spain to gain additional knowledge in the field of pharmacology and I was invited to start my PhD at the “Universidad Complutense” (Madrid, Spain). During my PhD, I have been active in working on several on-going projects in the group. As Postdoctoral scholar at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, I became a researcher more independent, also designing my research and managing my own grant. Finally, my current position as Scientific Officer at Fondazione Ri.MED (Italy) has improved my expertise in research and project evaluation and management. I became expert in coordinating research and educational activities and in implementing result dissemination and exploitation actions.
