I research geopolitical and security trends in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the Gulf sub-region. I’m the CEO of Gulf State Analytics, a DC-based geopolitical risk consultancy. I teach a course on Persian Gulf security at Georgetown University. As a Public Trust Contractor, I consult US government entities and bureaus as a subject matter expert (SME). I provide services as a SME for numerous multinational law firms based in the US and UK. I routinely brief US diplomats at the Department of State on Gulf and global affairs. I have over one decade of experience producing reports and analyses for think tanks in the US, Europe, and the Gulf.
