My role as a CSM at Cresset is a direct extension of my background in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. My primary responsibility is to act as a bridge between our support and the high-stakes work our clients are doing in big pharma.I work directly with scientists at major pharmaceutical companies on confidential drug discovery projects, providing the training and troubleshooting they need to move their pipelines forward. If there is a technical hurdle in how the software is being applied to a specific project task, it is my job to identify it and make sure it\'s fixed before it impacts their research. This position also involves a constant feedback loop with our software development team. By doing this, I help improve our software’s capabilities. An essential part of my work is maintaining a presence in the scientific community. This is a requirement of the role that allows me to share our advancements in computational and medicinal chemistry with the wider field and ensure our tools continue to meet the needs of the national and international research community.A primary requirement of my position is the dedicated support of our major clients and their critical drug discovery programs. My role involves on-site technical oversight and high-level consultation for these confidential projects to ensure our technology is accelerating their drug discovery research effectively. I then loop these frontline insights back to our development team to ensure our high-tech tools stay ahead of the industry\'s needs.

Dear All,My name is Giorgia Zaetta and I am a Scientist at Cresset, Discovery. I worked as a CADD Research Scientist at Pharmacelera for 2 years. Before that, I worked as a Senior Scientist at Charles River Laboratories in Cambridge (UK) for 4 years (transitioned from med chem to comp chem).I did a Post Doc in Genoa (Italy) as a fellow at the Italian Institute of Technology - IIT.Previously, I spent one year at The Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard, as PhD visiting student, where I deepened my knowledge in organic chemistry synthesis and approaches and tools used in its practice. I worked as a medicinal chemist for almost 10 years, starting during my MD thesis and PhD studies, particularly in carrying out research projects, dealing with design, synthesis and structure-activity relationship studies of novel small molecules. I gained lot of experience in drug discovery, from Hit ID to preclinical candidates.I have a Master of Pharmacy (110/110 cum laude) gained at the University of Bari, Italy. During these years, I was also elected member of the University Academic Senate for 3 years, so I acquired a considerable experience in the finance, administration and management areas.Before 2012 and since when I was a child, I have been a sailing racer.
