ABOUT GIORGIA LO NIGRO

I am a Researcher in French and Francophone Studies, specialized in the MENA region (Middle-East & North Africa). I am also working in the translation and SEO fields as a Freelance Translator from Arabic, French and English to Italian, Content Writer & Reviewer. I am currently doing research on the topic of religious, gender and sexual identities in Lebanese and Syrian French-speaking Literature, adopting Sociological and Gender theory. My life goal is to ease cross-cultural communication raising cultural sensitivity and respect. Therefore, I am also involved in the social field, and actively collaborate with many NGO\'s, helping refugees and asylum seekers. One of my best achievements was to interpret in the refugee settlements of Northern Lebanon in favor of a team of Italian doctors and Syrian children and adults refugees.
