As a Resident Educational Advisor (REA), I support and mentor undergraduate students to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive living environment on campus. My responsibilities include- Community Building: Organizing and facilitating events, workshops, and discussions to create a supportive and engaging community for residents- Conflict Resolution: Acting as a mediator to resolve conflicts between residents and ensuring open communication within the dorm community- Student Support: Providing guidance on academic, social, and personal matters while connecting students to campus resources for their well-being- Crisis Management: Responding to emergency situations and ensuring students\' safety, while maintaining an atmosphere of respect and accountability.My role allows me to create an enriching campus experience, ensuring that students feel supported both academically and personally.
