   As the spearhead of GenAI initiatives at a $171B health insurance provider, I have played a pivotal role in resolving intricate business challenges. • Developed LLM augmentation services (RAG) and vector stores, utilizing Python, Qdrant, langchain, and llama-index to interact with diverse data stores. I have also designed a framework to evaluate the performance of various RAG-based pipelines, thereby enabling the selection of optimal techniques and components. Furthermore, I have implemented state-of-the-art techniques in TypeScript, which are not supported by the primary GenAI frameworks. • Led a comprehensive diabetes prediction study, overseeing a team of four PhDs and a clinician. We focused on over seven million at-risk patients in the US from 2014 to 2020, exploring AI\'s potential to boost diabetes screening efficiency. Our deep learning model identified over twice the patients compared to traditional clinical practice, without additional screening resources, resulting in over $150M/year in cost savings.• Initiated the MedQA initiative, a medical questioning answering system with conversational capabilities. This system, based on curated medical data sources, provides highly accurate answers to medical inquiries and proved invaluable during the COVID-19 pandemic.• Introduced a cutting-edge deep learning method for causal-inference to personalize treatment recommendations for complex chronic conditions on a large scale. • My technical expertise includes NLP, Deep Learning, Causal Inference, Python, Pyspark, Flask, langchain, llama-index, Qdrant, OpenAI, Pandas, Poetry, Pipenv, Docker, Kubernetes, EMR, S3, Elastic Search, Linux, Bash, Mongo, Snowflake, Postgres, Pgvector, Qdrant, and Airflow.
