ABOUT GINO GENSON

As a Solar PV Designer at Ridgeline Power Solutions, I design and optimize solar photovoltaic systems for residential and commercial clients, using software tools such as Helioscope and Aurora. I also facilitate permitting and technical compliance processes and collaborate with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project quality. I have successfully completed over 50 projects in the past five months, ranging from 5 kW to 100 kW in size. In addition, I am a Business Lead and Cofounder at Re(source) Energy, a carbon credit development company that enables owners of small grid-tied solar power systems to produce and earn income from solar carbon credits. Our mission is to reduce the cost of investing and owning zero-emission distributed energy systems to ensure that the ability to produce and utilize clean energy is universal and available to everyone. I am responsible for the marketing and outreach strategy, as well as the business development and partnership opportunities. I have helped secure multiple grants, pitch competitions, and pilot programs for our innovative solution. I have a BSc in Advertising from Central Philippine University, and I have taken courses in Global Logistics Management, Project Management and Professional Communication from MacEwan University. I have also obtained certifications in Business Process Improvement, Blockchain Foundation Developer, and Introduction to Data Science from LinkedIn and IBM. I have skills in digital communications, online marketing, video editing, and data analysis. I am passionate about creating positive social and environmental impact with solar energy and data solutions. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with diverse and talented teams. I am a creative, adaptable, and resourceful professional, with a vision to make a difference in the world.
