About Gino Reina

Over my nearly 30-year career in investment management, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading institutions and clients, helping them navigate complex portfolio strategies and optimize their private equity investments. My focus has always been on understanding my clients’ unique needs and delivering tailored solutions that support their long-term objectives. Throughout my career, I’ve held key roles at firms like SECOR Asset Management, where I was a day-one partner and led private equity manager research, and at Segal Advisors, UBS Paine Webber, and Neuberger Berman, where I gained extensive experience in portfolio management and research. Today, I serve as a Director in the Global Investment Partnerships Group at Mercer, supporting our global business development efforts and working closely with large clients to communicate our strategic portfolio solutions and manage their private equity holdings. I believe that strong relationships and a deep understanding of market dynamics are essential to delivering value, and I am passionate about helping clients achieve their investment goals through innovative strategies and disciplined management. Outside of work, I am Vice Chair of the CFA New Jersey Group, and I reside in Glen Rock, NJ with my wife and two children. When I’m not working, I enjoy running ultra marathons—an activity that teaches resilience and perseverance—and spending quality time with my family.
