War Eagle! I’m a junior at Auburn University, majoring in Journalism, with a strong interest in pursuing a career in political media and newswriting. From an early age, I’ve been passionate about government, politics, and the stories that shape our world. My coursework at Auburn provides me with a strong overview of journalism, newswriting, and communications, preparing me for career paths within these fields. My campus involvement has given me opportunities to grow both professionally and personally, strengthening my interpersonal skills and leadership. Through organizations such as Auburn SGA and Student Recruiters, I’ve been exposed to professional settings, made meaningful connections, and gained hands on experience in fields that I am passionate about: communication and journalism. I’ve developed strong communication skills with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, learning their individual stories and tailoring my services to their unique experiences. My experiences have strengthened my ability to strategize, collaborate, and execute plans that drive real results. I have learned to be dedicated, consistent, and commit to responsibility. I’m passionate about leadership, civic involvement, and using media as a platform to inspire informed conversations. I’m currently seeking opportunities to grow my professional experience in newswriting, journalism, or communications!

1. Summer Staff

   Camp Winnataska

   Jan 2024 — Present · Pell City, AL, US

   I facilitated and organized various programs and night activities across a span of ten weeks during the summer. I was certified to work in horseback riding and shooting sports along with lifeguard training. Our main role as a part of staff is to work with the other thirty one staff members to promote faith and faith-centered relationships for close to 1,500 campers throughout the entire summer.
