Lead accountant responsible for numerous diverse processes in Derivatives Accounting & Reporting Center of Excellence (DCOE), including FIN39 and FIN39-1 netting, hedge linking, reconciliation, reporting, report automation, variance analysis, research and root cause analysis, technology transition, and a multitude of projects with the goal of service excellence- Prepares and submits multiple monthly and quarterly reports, including netting detail to support SEC and Regulatory reporting; monthly analytics, including average balance, legal entity and variance analysis- Creates balance sheet netting journal entries for multiple legal entities- Analyzes weekly FAS133 and Econ Hedge hedge linking for appropriate elimination levels, counterparty, hedge and external accounts, and prepares adjustments- Prepared reconciliation of derivative trade data to general ledger, including leading collaboration with internal teams regarding timing and processing of data and manual adjustments.
