Most recently, my focus has been on driving exceptional service amongst all channels, developing top talent, optimizing profitability and growing brand awareness.As RVP of Stores for Pottery Barn, the globally known provider of home furnishings, I drove revenue and profitability growth for up to 100 stores spanning the eastern US region and Canada. As an FSC-certified company, my teams and I supported sustainability initiatives, including numerous in-store programs. Along with expanding profit margins by boosting sales, streamlining operational processes, and controlling costs, I focused on bringing out the very best in people and assisting them in achieving their professional aspirations.In addition to identifying, recruiting, and hiring diverse top performers, I am passionate about developing internal staff members. I am especially proud of coaching dozens of employees ultimately promoted into leadership positions. I have been recognized by executive leaders for my track record of cultivating a diverse talent pipeline and diligently preparing for the future with succession planning.Previously, as Senior District Manager at West Elm, a prominent Williams Sonoma Inc. Brand, I was initially asked to lead a number of high-volume stores. During my time in the role, I doubled the number of locations to reach the highest level in the company’s history at the time. My very first position with Pottery Barn was District Manager, a role I was recruited into. Throughout my time with the company, I have regularly been honored for my work. This recognition includes being chosen multiple times as a Top 10 finalist for the prestigious Howard Lester Award of Excellence and the company’s People First Award. I first began my career after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. My first employer was Dillard’s, where I was selected for the Executive Training Program after just a year.
