I am an award-winning, adaptable, and passionate healthcare leader. During my career, I have been honored for building, launching, and managing multiple programs for a major medical center and the community. Among my career highlights:• Awarded “Nurse of the Year” by Sutter Memorial Medical Center for exceptional leadership and innovation. • Honored with the “Nursing in Community Award” from the Modesto Junior College Nursing Alumni Association.• Improved patient satisfaction, employee wellness, and operational efficiency while simultaneously reducing costs.• Developed and debuted a Pain Management Department as well as multiple new programs.• Built education models and streamlined implementation of evidence-based quality standards, methodologies, and best practices across the continuum of care.You will find me to be a versatile go-getter with stellar change leadership, risk management, clinical education, and operations expertise. I have collaborated with a Chief Nursing Executive and also take pride communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and a diverse interdisciplinary care team.Bringing out the best in my colleagues is what I do best. To this end, I contributed greatly to earning an “outstanding rating for staff teamwork” on an Experience of Work Survey. Also, while leading a Mind-Body Program to improve employee wellness, I have achieved an 84% participation rate since the programs’ inception in 2021, including reducing staff stress 62%. Meanwhile as Clinical Coordinator in Pain Management, I have played an integral leadership role building and growing the department, from just two employees and creating job descriptions – to four separate relocation moves and nearly 25 team members, including 17 RNs, three UA/UC, two clinical nurse residents, an educator, and traveler. We have achieved 11% growth in the past 12 months alone. Additionally, I have improved patient outcomes while simultaneously reducing costs and inaccuracies.I also enjoy creating, implementing, and leading training initiatives in my community. For example, I have led presentations before multiple post-graduate nursing programs on resiliency and self-care.
