Led a product team in building Komodo’s 0-1 big bet product, MapLab. Created the strategy for achieving the goal of allowing many personas from analyst, data scientist, developer, and executives from the clinical development, commercial, HEOR, consulting, business development life science segments work seamlessly together in getting answers to questions from clinical data that drive their business. Clinical data consisted of EHR, claims, sdoh, labs, observation, and genomics data. Ensured that we stayed compliant with HIPAA while innovating with de-identified, tokenized data. Achieved explosive growth by focusing on building for scale not just with the technology but with the pricing approach. Launched initially to 1 segment, then launched to 6 more in the same year. We launched with 1 tier and then expanded to 3. Achieved 25M ARR within 1 year of launch. Wrote strategy documents that drove multi-year innovations with an eye towards sequential value add while pivoting agiley as the technical and market terrains shifted.Collaborated with product operations, go to market teams, design leaders, and engineering to build and launch major product launches as well as continuous improvements with a bias towards continuous integration and deployment. Incorporated AI transformations to improve usability and break open new innovations in the product by allowing users to interact with the product using natural language to build concepts to study, use predictive analytics to find opportunities, and offer an increasing set of AI code-assistance to data scientists and developers using our workspaces and APIs.Built a progressive framework for first allowing our own developers to develop the analytic product and then allowing external developers to use the same APIs and frameworks to develop on the platform resulting in increasing profitability.
