As an access case manager, I evaluate patients with spinal cord and brain injury for admission to Shepherd Center. I meet with the patient and familiy and educate them about Shepherd Center, and help them cope with their injury/ illness, and prepare them for the next step of their recovery process. I am actively speaking at conferences and hospitals nationally educating clinicians on how they can achieve providing the best possible care to their brain injury and spinal cord injury population.
