Ginene serves in dual roles at Corning Incorporated as the Chief of Staff to the General Counsel and the Director of Legal Strategy and Operations. In these capacities, she works with the General Counsel and partners with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department, and ensure alignment with Corning\'s organizational objectives. Her responsibilities include overseeing legal operations, driving innovation, and implementing frameworks that deliver measurable value across the enterprise. Previously, Ginene served as Head of Business Unit Litigation at the Vanguard Group Inc. In that role, Ginene managed a diverse portfolio of litigation and disputes involving Vanguard’s business distribution channels (i.e, retail, institutional, and financial intermediaries), serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on a wide range of matters, including risk management, legal and regulatory compliance, and operational issues. Ginene also led the Legal Spend Management team, playing a critical role in transforming Vanguard’s outside counsel management process and developing a data-driven strategy to achieve significant financial efficiencies.Prior to joining Vanguard, Ginene was a litigation associate at a Philadelphia law firm. Ginene started her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Petrese B. Tucker in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
