About Gina Panarisi
With over 20 years of experience in education and student advisement, I have dedicated my career to guiding students toward success—whether they’re preparing for a career in healthcare, navigating technical programs, or earning their U.S. citizenship. My journey has been fueled by a deep passion for mentorship, and student success with the right guidance. Living life as a global citizen allowed me to embrace diverse cultures and educational systems. From 2014 to 2016, I had the incredible opportunity to work abroad in Bratislava, SK, as an ESL teacher. It was there that I designed and implemented a transformative ESOL program, building bridges between international families and their children’s education. The experience solidified my passion for communication and cultural understanding through language learning. Upon returning to the U.S, I continued my journey as a Lead Instructor for ESOL Civics and U.S. Citizenship preparation where I delivered student-centered lessons that improved language acquisition and insights into American culture and job readiness skills. Through personalized coaching, I helped students secure U.S. Citizenship with the assistance of digital tolls that increased student\'s test taking proficiency. In my current role as an Academic Advisor at Life University, I work with over Chiropractic students at the largest institution of its kind in the world. My days are spent offering guidance, collecting critical data, and helping students navigate complex academic and professional landscapes. Seeing students achieve their career goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role. Biggest Wins One of my proudest accomplishments was coaching my Citizenship students where I achieved a 95% success rate for Citizenships earned. Industry Impact Throughout my career, I have been committed to making higher education more accessible and empowering students with the tools they need to succeed. I approach each challenge with the goal of creating meaningful connections and transformative experiences. Vision for the Future As I look ahead, I envision continuing to adapt my coaching and advising practices to the evolving landscape in education, technology, and client-based services. The rise of digital tools and virtual platforms presents exciting opportunities for remote learning and coaching, and I am passionate about integrating new technologies to enhance student engagement and support.
