Manager of Studio Operations Photo Content, Imaging & Premedia Facility @Macy's

Work in close collaboration with Director of Operations, Photography Director and associated teams, to establish/develop studio workload capacity, workflow efficiencies, operational costs, and budget forecast, for a newly consolidated full service in-house still life studio and took on existing studio’s that support Macy’s print, fashion, still-life, and premedia processes. Created and implemented all practices and procedures that align with building/facility standards for sq. feet of workspace. Created prop, project, and general supply request standards that support efficient monthly auditing. • Recruit, train, schedule, lead, develop, and retain Operations team, holding Operations team accountable to monitor and supervise this work. Open and closing studio; ensuring all building controls and procedures are followed and strictly enforced. Support asset protection policies and procedures which appropriately track and control photography equipment as well as merchandise samples and product. Studio equipment set-up, control and maintenance including but not limited to photo and set equipment. • Ensure all systems are functioning as needed, space is maintained and upgraded as needed to support workflow efficiency, partnering with appropriate resources when necessary to facilitate. • Set-up /negotiate and maintain all vendor service contracts i.e. logistics, maintenance, supply, etc. • Work closely with Director of Finance to ensure photo studio operates within budget parameters and lobby for additional funds as needed to support volume increase. Non-payroll budget forecasting, tracking, and control. Issue purchase orders, process invoices and assist in month-end closing activities. Work in close collaboration with Director of Photography to ensure best possible photography product and outcome. • Team captain for annual charity fund raising events; The United Way & Bag Hunger. Lead/support special projects and assignments as needed.
