I’m a development professional who loves helping mission-driven organizations build relationships that last. My career has spanned public libraries, museums and now healthcare. Each step reinforcing my belief that good philanthropy starts with strong storytelling, thoughtful strategy and authentic connection.At VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, I guide all facets of the philanthropy department: individual giving, stewardship, donor communications, major gift efforts, annual campaigns, business partnerships and events. I’m also spearheading internal culture of philanthropy efforts across a 250+employee organization, work that blends strategy, facilitation, coaching and organizational development.I’m often the person who can zoom out to see the big picture while still executing the details with care. I have a special love for:• transforming donor communications and stewardship touches• designing engaging events that feel mission focused (not transactional)• building systems that are rooted in fundraising best practices• helping teams feel more confident and connected to fundraisingMy background in digital marketing, communications strategy and community engagement strengthens everything I do—especially in roles where clear messaging and cross-department collaboration are key.I hold a B.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland.When I’m not thinking about fundraising strategy, I’m usually at a farmer’s market, out on a trail or in the garden with my dogs surrounded by native plants, herbs and veggies.
