WORK HISTORY
Interdisciplinary Assistant Professor, Researcher, Instructor @U.S. Naval War College
Newport, RI, US
Returning to the Naval War College in a faculty role following several years of research and project management, I conduct research in my areas of specialty while teaching master’s-level courses in Leadership, Ethics, Humanities, and Technology. In my publications, I draw on themes from history and emerging technology including AI, nuclear ethics, global security, and just war traditions. I address leaders as part of the College’s Leadership in the Profession of Arms course and participate in navy behavioral science groups studying leader development, behavior, and decision making—playing an active planning role in Flag Officer programs and research. Active in outreach, I co-teach a chaplain course on Leadership & Ethics, and am working with co-creators in studies and exhibitions on public processing of trauma, war, and conflict.
