   Leading 2 Complex Hospitals: 317-bed complex tertiary hospital (Level Trauma, Birthing Center, Level NICU, Flight for Life, and Inpatient Rehab Program) and a 72-bed specialty hospital (Orthopedic and Spine). Manage staff and report to the Market President. Provide aligned, strategic and operational oversight to the Colorado Springs area (3 hospitals) within the Pikes Peak Market with a budget generating over $100 million in EBITDA, with annual net revenues greater than $650 million. Deployed Lean as Operating Management System with defined Pillar Goals, Business Initiatives, and Just Do Its, as displayed in Obeya Room. Executed Strategy Deployment generating a 12 month plan for growth and development (YOY: Inpatient Admission Grew +107%, ER Admission Grew +46%, Grew Surgeries +480%). Created Continuous Learning Organization through the Monthly General Leadership Meetings by integrating curriculum aligned to achieve goals by improving leadership competency and engagement. Designed and hired the newly formed Executive Leadership Team between two hospital campuses and conducted Leadership Summits. Addressed employee and physician satisfaction request for improved visibility by launching Walk in Their Shoes, Mission Rounds, Town Halls, Weekly President’s Newsletter, and Monthly Physician Lounge Lunches with improved satisfaction score across both hospital campuses and all survey domains. Launched new programs/services, to include Acute Rehabilitation Unit, Hospice/GIP, Aquablation, Lung Nodule Program, Spine Surgery, and CCTA. Engaged community leaders to promote CommonSpirit’s Mission by serving on the Military Affairs Council and appointed to Congressional Seat for Military Academy Selection Panel. Aligned Standard Work with Operations/Clinical Processes and Gemba Boards with following results for both campuses: CAUTI/CLABSI-free, improved patient satisfaction, decreased LWOBS, and improved FCOTS.
