About Gina Snow

As the Director of Complex Litigation, in collaboration with claims, product, and legal leadership, I manage all extra-contractual, class and complex litigation country-wide. In doing so, my team and I provide consult on complex legal matters and training on how to best manage litigation to avoid extra-contractual exposures. We work with outside counsel on all extra-contractual and class litigation to achieve an accurate, cost-conscious resolution.

   National General Management Corp, an Allstate Company – Director of Complex Litigation October 2017 – present • Oversee a team of attorneys who work with claims, product and business executives to mitigate extra-contractual risk at both the claim and enterprise level on a country-wide basis, including but not limited to preparing and deploying training, overseeing an monitoring all potential extra-contractual exposures, and providing real-time intervention on an as-needed basis. • Responsible for all facets of extra-contractual work, including managing class actions and all lawsuits where there is an allegation of bad faith, retaining and performance managing outside counsel, mediating and negotiating exposures, directing litigation, and actively participating in discovery in order to ensure consistent high quality work leading to optimal outcomes. • Provide reporting on all potential extra-contractual exposures to executive teams, re-insurers, actuaries and other finance partners to ensure proper reserving and coverage at the enterprise level. • Act as a conduit between business partners and claims in ensuring the teams provide products and claims customer service that support company goals around obtaining/retaining customers and accurately and efficiently resolving claims.
