As the Grant Compliance Manager at Fulton County Government, I ensure compliance and provide technical assistance training for federal grant programs countywide. I have over 20 years of experience in accounting and auditing both public and private sector. I hold a Certified Public Manager certification from the University of Georgia. I have a proven record of meeting or exceeding budget cost savings and containment goals, and I have led or contributed to several system development and implementation projects.In addition to my public sector role, I am also an entrepreneur, a motivational speaker, an author, and the founder and executive director of Positive FACE, a youth nonprofit organization. I am passionate about empowering foster, kinship, and at-risk children to make positive life choices through social, emotional, and academic development. I have published two books of poetry and a biography, and I am working on several more manuscripts. I have also contracted training and project development solutions for small businesses and governmental entities.
