About Gina Picha
I love solving complex problems, especially when the stakes are high. After years working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, I’ve learned that effective problem-solving comes down to clarity, speed, and focus. I identify the minimum needed to remove a barrier, quickly map the resources required, and act — adjusting as new challenges emerge.I’ve thrived in leadership roles that require focus, collaboration, and quick, strategic decision-making. Each opportunity has helped me grow as a leader and sharpen what I do best: turning ideas into action and guiding teams to deliver exceptional results. Here are a few things I’ve learned about myself along the way:1. I can build and lead high-performing teams under pressure. Most recently, I hired and led a team of 20 curriculum writers and managers to create a fully customized K–5 math curriculum in just 14 months.2. I’m a self-starter who acts with purpose. Once I understand the company’s goals, I move quickly to build a plan, gather what I need, and make things happen, without waiting for direction.3. I thrive in cross-functional environments. I value collaboration, ask smart questions, and seek out the right experts to solve challenges together.4. I make thoughtful, timely decisions. I start from the product vision rather than ego or habit. I know when to advocate, when to pivot, and when to let go.5. I’m someone people want on their team. I show up every single time and deliver more than is expected. Within the first year of working for my company I earned an award for “An Amplifier that embodies collaboration and teamwork, thoughtfulness and commitment to our purpose. This person thinks outside the box to solve problems and is the colleague you turn to when you have tried everything else.” 6. I dream big and deliver. I’ve written and published a book on mathematics education and designed a six-week professional development program for teachers as part of my own research study.I’m always interested in hearing about new opportunities and exciting projects.
