For the past eight years, I’ve followed my passions into careers focused on stakeholder engagement, executive support, relationship building, and strategic event management.After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2017, my lifelong love for dance and performing led me to audition for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders—the most iconic cheerleading squad in the world. As a standout performer on the reality show DCC: Making the Team, I quickly earned leadership roles while traveling the globe as a brand ambassador for America’s Team. I represented the organization in national TV appearances, speaking engagements, philanthropic events, and, of course, cheered on the Cowboys at every home game.Some of my favorite memories include performing with Queen + Adam Lambert, dancing on the TODAY Show, taking the field during Thanksgiving Day Halftimes, teaching kids at Camp DCC, orchestrating a two-day large-scale Prep Intensive for audition hopefuls, being voted “Veteran of the Year” by my teammates, and earning the coveted “point of the triangle” position—the pinnacle placement in the team’s iconic formation.Reflecting on this once-in-a-lifetime experience, I carry with me a deep appreciation for cultivating relationships at all levels, the operational excellence and adaptability required in fast-paced, high-profile environments, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that enhance brand awareness and community engagement.At Abstract Ventures, I’ve had the unique opportunity to be part of a lean, high-performing team at one of the most dynamic early-stage venture firms in the Bay Area. As employee #6, I’ve worn many hats—providing 24/7 executive support to seven senior leaders, managing the day-to-day operations of our Jackson Square office, and driving firm-wide onboarding initiatives across talent, GTM, PR and Branding. I led the planning and execution of our flagship LP meeting (250+ attendees) and multiple bespoke gatherings, ensuring every detail reflected the firm’s brand of high-touch hospitality. I also played a key role in our office redesign and relocation project, streamlining operations and creating a welcoming, functional space for the team and our guests. My time at Abstract has sharpened my ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, anticipate needs before they arise, and create seamless experiences for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
