Position responsibilities also include supporting preparedness and response processes in collaboration with external and internal partners at the federal, state and local levels. These responsibilities directly support the safety of the public, agency staff, consumers and clients impacted by emergency or disaster situations. This position is the primary emergency response contact for state agency partners, including the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and may be contacted at all hours to support statewide response efforts. This position is the lead liaison to the State Operations Center (SOC).
