About Gina Centioli

I’m an operations leader with 20+ years in operations and in data at Nike and Paylocity. It\'s easy for me to get fully invested in my work when work is moving fast, and we need to figure it out as we go while also being planful and strategic. I\'ve often had jobs others don\'t want - responsible for sales commissions or data governance at Nike - jobs that require had work, critical thinking, aligning others and bringing others along as you do it. I truly love to invest in an organization - learning the people, systems, processes and values and then figuring out how I can make things easier for those around me while also achieving aggressive goals. My experience spans business operations, software release project management, incident triage & response, sales compensation, client service, data governance, knowledge management, and workforce analytics — always grounded in disciplined execution and strategic thinking.Key AccomplishmentsBuilt Nike’s Workforce Intelligence and Product Data Governance teams from the ground up, creating frameworks that brought business, data, and technology into alignment.Led Nike’s U.S. Sales Compensation organization, transitioning 300+ sales reps to a new commission-plus-pay structure and balancing business unit and regional needs while staying on budget.Directed Nike’s first global employee survey, reaching employees in 12+ languages, and shared insights with the Senior Leadership Team to guide company-wide action.Scaled Paylocity’s Service Organization from 45 to 250 employees while meeting retention goals for clients, developing hiring and leadership programs that led to 30+ internal promotions.Turned around Paylocity’s Knowledge Management team, improving systems and processes to save annual labor hours and keep knowledge articles up to date.Built Paylocity’s first Operations Incident Response Team, designing the structure and tools for faster issue resolution and better visibility into client health.Developed a data-driven hiring framework that cut turnover in half and improved long-term talent pipelines.Prevented service interactions and reduced high-impact bug release cycles from 138 to 18 days through a prioritization framework, improved accountability and cross-functional collaboration.I love building systems that help teams thrive and organizations scale — and I’m always drawn to challenges that require equal parts strategy, structure, and humanity.
