Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) is a nonprofit partnership of corporate, civic and philanthropic leaders that supports, advocates and develops programs and initiatives designed to create a clean, safe and inviting Downtown. The DDP plans, manages, and supports downtown Detroit through diverse, resilient and economically urban initiatives. Established in 2014, the Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone (BIZ) is a special assessment district formed by property owners to deliver behind-the-scenes supplemental services on which residents, downtown workers, visitors, and business and property owners rely.
