International disputes lawyer and AI enthusiast. I am experienced in representing governments and multinationals on a broad range of high-value ($100m – $40 billion), complex disputes throughout the EMEA region. Involved in all aspects of dispute resolution strategy from planning of pre-litigation stages up to the enforcement of awards/judgments and/or settlements. Experienced in oral advocacy and cross-examination before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal and ICC tribunals.A team-player with a proven track record of working successfully alongside local counsel on common law and civil law litigation matters in the UK, Africa, the Middle East and the United States.My AI knowledge includes the fundamentals of machine learning, algorithms (writing, interpreting workflows and outputs), developing and deploying responsible AI, and AI governance and policy frameworks. Launched Deep Lex in 2024, focused on simplifying and democratising the information surrounding the development and use of AI, for the benefit of the legal community. I personally built and launched the new site in September 2025 with expanded resources including a blog, AI glossary and AI disputes tracker. v.3 will be released in Q4 2025 featuring a new global regulation tracker.
