About Gillian Pinsky
I’m a senior General Engineering student at Wake Forest University concentrating in Mechanical Engineering. My work spans medical device R&D, product development, and advanced manufacturing, where I integrate CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing to create reliable, human-centered designs.As President of the Society of Women Engineers and a Teaching Assistant for CAD and Materials courses, I’ve strengthened my leadership and technical communication skills. My project experience includes medical device redesigns, cryogenic optical systems, and wearable prototypes, all aimed at improving usability and performance.I’m pursuing opportunities in mechanical design and med-tech R&D, as well as graduate study in mechanical engineering focused on device innovation.
