ABOUT GILLIAN SHIPMAN
Gillian has her B.A. in American Multi Cultural Studies and her Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University.Gillian has been involved in the event industry for as long as she can remember. Starting out participating in catering events for her mother\'s school, she fell in love with the hustle bustle of an event. While attending college, her position as the Event Director with Associated Student Productions led her to create the largest Halloween and Summer Ball events to date!She started working with event companies at the age of 20, then took a small break to work with a large winery in their hospitality department.Missing the design aspect of all events, she got back into the event production side. This move allowed her to expand her knowledge of decor and event management. This included audio, video, rigging, and lighting.Gillian has worked alongside some of the top planners in the San Francisco Area to execute both large and small scale events!One event near and dear to her heart is The V Foundation Wine Celebration for Cancer Research fundraiser held in Napa, California every August.Gillian especially enjoys producing events which accurately reflect her client’s visions. To that end, she listens carefully and is not satisfied until her clients are.
