Manage Spatial Planning Research & Development Team within Development Plan Group.Responsible for:• GCC’s input to the development of National Place Standards and implementation of Placemaking Policy; • Development of Glasgow’s Open Space Strategy and Local Contexts. Lead for Glasgow\'s role as front runner city in H2020 Connecting Nature ( Planning & BC’s input to Subsurface spatial planning; • Strategic input to the Glasgow and Clyde Valley Green Network and CSGN; • IGI (integrated green infrastructure) input to masterplans; SDFs (strategic development frameworks), TRAs (transformational regeneration areas), charrettes, etc; • Embedding the outcomes of the Equally Well test site into Planning and Community Planning through the Healthy Sustainable Neighbourhoods model and the Healthy Sustainable Me model;• Production of spatial planning guidance on Subsurface, Energy and Waste Management and other support work relating to City Development Plan• GCC’s input to Glasgow Clyde Valley Strategic Development Plan (Clydeplan) on Environment and Place Standards;Geovation & Innovative ways of creating sustainable and resilient communities, spaces & placesNature based solutions that create multifunctional spaces and places that balance economic, social and environmental demands
