ABOUT GILL HUNTER
I have worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years, having been an Independent Financial Adviser for the last 30. Before joining Fitzallan, I was a Senior Manager within Grant Thornton’s national accountancy practice where I advised ‘high net worth’ individuals for 11 years.I am an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and a Chartered Financial Planner. I particularly enjoy guiding my clients through the complex and changing world of investments, pensions and tax as they work towards their financial goals.In my spare time I enjoy swimming, occasionally babysitting a rather energetic Dalmatian and working with Maggie’s, a cancer care centre in Glasgow, where I am the Chair of the fundraising board. I am also a trustee of the Esin Foundation, which is a local charity set up to support individuals in further education, the arts, music and culture in Scotland and relief to those in need by reason of age, ill-health or disability.
